Elementary Stop Bullying Presentation
Grades 4 to 8
In this presentation students will first gain knowledge on how to accomplish independence by understanding responsibility, integrity and respect - directing them to earn freedom.
We then change directions for the second part and start focusing on the students that are “watching“.
When student bystanders understand their role it becomes easier for them to change their behaviour in reporting incidents of bullying or violence.
Third, each school will receive our “Bystander, Speak-up” program which contains on-line reporting systems, on-line character education exercises and much more.
Jim Jordan was a great speaker . He covered the material from the anti bullying section in safety which the kids should have heard but did not until he spoke. When talking to a reluctant student, the student said the message was good and I think he was surprised to hear himself say those words. Why did you like it? It was entertaining with a direct message. Also it was very timely for the students who are making life choices.
